The meeting of the Finance, Administration & Land Acquisition Committee was called to order at 6:30 P.M. by Mayor Dietz.
Approve Previous Meeting Minutes
Alderperson Mietzner made a motion and Alderperson Kirwin seconded to approve the August 15, 2023 meeting minutes as written and have them placed on file.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5 Mietzner, Kirwin, Vice, Jeffries, Holmes
NAYS: 0
PASS: 2 Allred, Smith
ABSENT: 1 Knight
The motion carried.
Public Comment
No public comment was made.
Review and Consideration to Approve the Accounting Reports
The Committee reviewed the accounts payable report as presented in the agenda packet. Alderperson Holmes made a motion, and Alderperson Mietzner seconded to approve the Accounts Payable report as presented and move them to the September 19, 2023, City Council meeting for a full vote. The motion carried.
Other Pertinent Information
Finance Director Gross distributed to the Committee a summary of the Utility Billing Memo. Finance Director Gross informed the Committee that the fiscal year 2023 audit has begun. Updated budgets for fiscal year 2024 will start to appear in future agenda packets.
Alderperson Kirwin requested that the spreadsheet related to elected officials' salaries be distributed via email to all the alderperson for their review and that this be discussed at a future meeting.

The motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Alderperson Allred and seconded by Alderperson Holmes. Upon voice vote, all yes, and the motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 6:37 P.M.
