Enrollment Analysis: White students comprised 82.1% of Mokena School District 159’s student body in 2021-22 school year

There were 1,274 white students enrolled in Mokena School District 159 in the 2021-22 school year, 0.8% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Mokena School District 159 welcomed 1,574 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 82.1% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Among the three schools in Mokena School District 159, Mokena Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 552 students.
