Will County voter turnout in Illinois’ April 4 Consolidated Election was 71,140, or about 16% of 454,714 registered voters.
That's according to the Will County Clerk's unofficial results.
Countywide, between 2011 and 2023, the number of ballots cast declined by 122. Over the same time period, the number of registered voters increased by 77,791.
Will County voters cast 9% fewer ballots -- a decrease of 6,623 -- in 2023 than in the last Consolidated Election, on April 6, 2021.
Typically, Consolidated Elections include contests for elected office in cities and villages, parks, library and fire protection districts and school boards.
