Each year, subsequent to the completion of the annual audit, staff reallocates money that has not been spent in the District’s four (4) non-current construction and development funds in order to reflect the current year’s financial needs.

The District’s C&D Funds have a five-year life and are established to account for the planning, maintenance, and overhead costs associated with the District’s acquisition, maintenance, preserve improvements, land management, renovation efforts, and other capital purchases. The reallocation reflects the original budget approved by the Board of Commissioners for the C&D Fund.
