APPROVAL OF MINUTES

The February 17, 2022 Zoning Board of Appeals meeting minutes will move forward to the April 21, 2022 meeting for a vote.

CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS

This section is for anyone wanting to speak regarding agenda items and are allowed a maximum of 4 minutes. It is not a question and answer period and staff, and the Zoning Board of Appeals members do not generally respond to public comments. The City Clerk has a copy of the public speaking procedures; please note, speakers who engage in conduct injurious to the harmony of the meeting shall be called to order by the Presiding Officer and may forfeit the opportunity to speak.

OLD BUSINESS: PUBLIC HEARING

During the Public Hearing, members of the public will be allowed to present evidence and ask questions subject to the rules of the meeting.

PETITION 2022-07: A Special Use Permit to allow truck & trailer repair with truck parking operation, located east of N.E. Frontage Road.

A motion was made by Brigette Roehr, seconded by Bob Nachtrieb, to table PETITION 2022-07: A Special Use Permit to allow truck & trailer repair with truck parking operation, located east of N.E. Frontage Road. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Hennessy, Nachtrieb, Safford and Roehr

NEW BUSINESS: PUBLIC HEARING

During the Public Hearing, members of the public will be allowed to present evidence and ask questions subject to the rules of the meeting.

PETITION 2022-11: A Special Use Permit to allow a fueling center, located at the Northwest corner of Route 6 & Hollywood Road.

PETITION 2022-12: A series of Variations on landscaping requirements, located at the Northwest corner of Route 6 & Hollywood Road.

A motion was made by Brigette Roehr, seconded by Colette Safford, to table PETITION 2022-11: A Special Use Permit to allow a fueling center, located at the Northwest corner of Route 6 & Hollywood Road and PETITION 2022-12: A series of Variations on landscaping requirements, located at the Northwest corner of Route 6 & Hollywood Road. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Hennessy, Nachtrieb, Safford and Roehr

PETITION 2022-13: A Special Use Permit to allow a fueling center with a car wash, located at the Northeast corner of Caton Farm Road & Ridge Road.

A motion was made by Colette Safford, seconded by Bob Nachtrieb, to table PETITION 2022-13: A Special Use Permit to allow a fueling center with a car wash, located at the Northeast corner of Caton Farm Road & Ridge Road. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Hennessy, Nachtrieb, Safford and Roehr

PETITION 2022-14: A series of Variations on signage, located on/ or around 650 Emerald Drive.

Chairma Hennessy swore in Mr. George Mahoney, 822 129th Infantry Drive, Joliet, IL. Mr. Mahoney appeared on behalf of this petition. Mr. Mahoney gave an explanation of the signage requests for the IKEA Distribution Facility.

A motion was made by Colette Safford, seconded by Brigette Roehr, to approve PETITION 2022-14: A series of Variations on signage, located on/ or around 650 Emerald Drive. The motion carried by the following vote:
