Pricing for the median home in Joliet (Will County) increased during the first quarter of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2022 in Joliet in Will County rose by $20,000 while total sales decreased by 5.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2022, there were 474 homes sold, with a median sale price of $215,000 - a 10.3% increase over the $195,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 501 homes sold in Joliet in the first quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Joliet for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,352, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2022.
