Fairmont median home prices fell by 5.6% in the first quarter of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2022 in Fairmont fell by $6,250 while total sales decreased by 37.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2022, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $105,000 - a 5.6% decrease over the $111,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Fairmont in the first quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Fairmont for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,258, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2022.
