Village of Elwood Finance Committee Met March 30.

The Village of Elwood Finance Committee's regular meeting at 4:00 p.m., was called to order by Finance Director Day.

Present: Finance Director Robbie Day, Committee Member Jodie Bertucci, Committee Member Doug Jenco, and Committee Member Darry Lab and Village Administrator Julie Friebele

PRESENTATION OF MINUTES

The minutes from the February 23, 2021 meeting were presented and reviewed. Committee Member Jenco made a motion to approve the February 23, 2021 minutes as presented. Committee Member Lab seconded the motion. The motion carried.

PRESENTATION OF BILLS – UNPAID INVOICE REPORT

The unpaid invoice report for $662,623.44 was presented and reviewed. There was a discussion regarding emergency repairs to Elwood International Port Road liftstation and the local share of the St. Louis Street Realignment Project. Committee Member Bertucci made a motion to send the Unpaid Invoice Report to the Village Board for consideration on April 7, 2021. Committee Member Lab seconded the motion. The motion carried.

PRESENTATION OF BILLS – PAID INVOICE REPORT

The paid invoice report from 02/20/2021 through 03/02/2021 and 03/04/2021 through 03/26/2021 in the amount of $1,291,226.74 was presented and reviewed. A discussion regarding the payments of the 2010A and 2015 Bonds. Committee Member Bertucci made a motion to send the Paid Invoice Report as presented to the Village Board for consideration on April 7, 2021. Committee Member Lab seconded the motion. The motion carried.

MONTHLY FINANCIAL REPORT

The monthly report for February 2021 was presented and reviewed. The committee discussed the benchmark overage/shortfalls for February 2021. Committee Member Jenco made a motion to send the monthly financial report as presented to the Village Board on April 7, 2021. Committee Member Bertucci seconded the motion. The motion carried.

OTHER BUSINESS

A discussion regarding the final budget presentation to the Village Board on April 7, 2021

Committee Member Bertucci made a motion to adjourn, and Committee Member Lab seconded the motion. The motion carried.
