City of Joliet issued the following announcement on Dec. 26.
Garbage & Recycling service will be one day late for Friday pick up during the week of December 21 due to the Christmas Day holiday. Customers with regularly scheduled Mon - Thur pick up will not be impacted by this change. The regular schedule will resume January 4, 2021.
