City of Joliet issued the following announcement on Nov. 13.
City Hall is happy to host a Giving Tree for the Boys & Girls Club of Joliet. If you would like to participate:
• Please select a tag with gift options that a child has requested off the tree.
• Bring your unwrapped gift (with the tag attached) back to the City Hall - Information Desk by Friday, December 11, 2020 in order for gifts to be delivered to participating Joliet families in time for Christmas morning.
City Hall will also take donations for new unwrapped toy(s) for either a boy/girl ages 6 – 12 for the Boys & Girls Club Toy Donation Box program. New unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Toy Donation Box located next to the Information Desk at City Hall.
No matter what option you choose your donations are much appreciated by these children and their families!
