City of Joliet issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
It's time to finally get rid of those old electronics, batteries, paint products and chemicals in the basement! Don’t forget, Joliet residents who pay for municipal waste on their water and sewer bills can call and have electronics and household hazardous wastes picked up from their homes free of charge. To schedule a pickup, either call 1-800-449-7587, email atyourdoor@wm.com or go to their website www.wmatyourdoor.com.
