City of Joliet issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
The City of Joliet is once again offering snow removal assistance for the 2020-21 season for residents 65 years or older or a person with a doctor verified disability. The application period for the program ends Friday, October 9, 2020. A submitted application does not mean you are in the program for this season. A lottery will be held of all applicants. Applications must be received no later than October 9, 2020. You will be notified if you are selected for the program. This program is restricted to single family homes only. Other requirements may apply.
The application can be found and submitted online at https://www.joliet.gov/snowprogram or may be submitted via email to NeighborhoodServices@joliet.gov, or in person at Joliet City Hall, located at 150 W. Jefferson Street.
