Frankfort Fire District responded to 834 calls in 2018 - 2.3 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Frankfort included 113 fires - 85 structure fires, five vehicle fires and 23 other fires.

In all, the department saw $1,260,405 in fire loss - or about $11,154 per fire.

The department also received 721 false calls, including 13 malicious calls and 708 other false calls.

Two fire service members were injured in fire-related incidents and four were injured in non fire-related incidents.

The Frankfort Fire District had an annual budget of $12,482,379 in 2018.
