City of Joliet issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
Today Governor JB Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity announced the opening of a new $220 million round of Business Interruption Grants (BIG) available for small businesses enduring the most extended impacts of the crisis, as well as those in disproportionately impacted areas (DIAs). This round follows the release of $49 million to nearly 2,800 businesses in 400 communities across the state.
