Commissioner Fricilone asked if anything special protocols will be added due to the Covid-19 Virus, Chief Operating Officer Schultz responded the District has asked UNIMAX to follow the CDC guidelines as they are amended, which they have agreed to do.

8. Proposed Discount for Annual Dog Park Permit Customers

Commissioner Ventura asked if the Executive Order from Governor Pritzker continues beyond May 30, 2020 and well in 2020 will there be a refund for permits. Chief Operating Schultz responded there would be a discount on next years permit, not this years for those who purchased permits for the year 2020.

J. COMMENTS BY COMMISSIONERS

Chief Financial Officer Pehle gave some highlights of the Covid-19 and Stay at Home Order Budget Impact and Review Report from the Finance Committee Agenda to the Operations Committee.

Commissioner Ventura asked Chief Operating Officer Schultz about opening up campgrounds for the season, Schultz replied, unfortunately the District will not be opening the campgrounds at this stage. Schultz explained to maintain the well sites as well as keeping the restrooms clean and safe to use would be difficult. The District is going to keep them close until we get more guidance from Illinois Public Health and the State of Illinois.

Commissioner Tuminello inquired about the changing stages and how it will affect the

Forest Preserve. Chief Operating Officer Schultz discussed the Forest Preserve District operational reopening plan and will be including a copy on the Board Agenda for further discussion.
