City of Joliet issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced new COVID-19 mitigation efforts will be implemented in Region 7, the greater Will and Kankakee County areas, including Joliet. Mitigation measures take effect August 26, 2020 and apply to bars, restaurants, meetings, social events, and other gatherings.
