City of Crest Hill issued the following announcement on Dec. 30.
The Crest Hill Police Department has reached a new milestone. Two new police officers were hired and graduated from the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy held at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. Officer Ryan Tetlow and Officer Bryan Barnes make a total of 32 active police officers, the most in the city's history.
Both Mayor Soliman and Chief Clark attended the graduation ceremony held on December 20. "This is good for the city, the most policemen the city has ever had," Soliman said. "We are excited to have them and wish them a long and safe career in Crest Hill."
"We are happy to announce these new officers," Chief Clark added. "We are looking forward to them beginning their field training."
Welcome to Crest Hill officers!
