City of Lockport issued the following announcement on Nov. 23.
Everyone is welcome to come celebrate the holidays at the Annual Christmas in the Square event. Come visit Santa and his workshop. Santa will have a special gift for each child. Children’s crafts, special treats and entertainment will be available too! Be sure to stop by the Gladys Fox Museum to see the Festival of Trees. Take part in Mainstreet of Lockport’s Passport to Christmas in the Square. Visit the Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Saturday. The tree lighting ceremony will be at 4:30pm on the front lawn of Central Square. This event is sponsored by the Lockport Township Park District, City of Lockport and Lockport Township Government as well as a variety of local businesses.
