The City of Joliet Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
JPD would like to remind the public that we have a "Battle Buddy" program. Officers who are in the program have served in the military and will be sent to despondent/suicidal veteran calls if available. For questions, please contact JPDBattleBuddy@jolietcity.org.
