City of Lockport issued the following announcement on July 18.
Due to excessive heat expected on Friday, cooling centers will be open at the following locations in Lockport:
City Hall
222 E. 9th Street
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Police Department
1212 Farrell Road
8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Lockport Township
1463 Farrell Road
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
