City of Lockport issued the following announcement on July 16.
Due to the excessive heat that is expected later this week, Waste Management is requesting to begin scheduled pick up on Thursday and Friday at 5 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. If your regular pick up day is on Thursday or Friday, please put your garbage and recycling out by 5 a.m. for service this week. Thank you for understanding. Stay safe!
