The City of Joliet Police Department issued the following announcement on June 24.
TRAFFIC ALERT / NASCAR is returning to the @ChicagolndSpdwy from 6/26-6/30. Please expect traffic delays around the area and plan extra time for your travels. Please follow directions given by @JolietPolice. Effected roads include Rt 53, Laraway, Rowell, Schweitzer, West, & East.
