The data shows that all of the released offenders in Lockport were men. Of the parolees, one is a veteran, and the median age is 39. The youngest parolee is a 26-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving drugs in 2018, and the oldest is a 54-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving one or more weapons in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Bruce Cockream. He was convicted of crimes against a person in 2012 when he was 29 years old. He is now 36.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
