The data shows that eight men and two women were released in Braidwood. The median age of the parolees was 33. The youngest parolee was a 25-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 56-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2016.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Ronnie Seehafer. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2015 when he was 24 years old. He is now 28.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
