New Lenox home prices fall in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in New Lenox fell by $2,200 while total sales decreased by 23.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 218 homes sold, with a median sale price of $255,000 - a 0.9% decrease over the $257,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 284 homes sold in New Lenox in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in New Lenox for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,632, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
