City of Wilmington issued the following announcement on Jan. 30.
In Wilmington, the Lion’s Club located at 805 River Street will be open to residents as a warming center from 6 am to 8 pm on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, Wednesday, January 30, 2019, and Thursday, January 31, 2019 for those without access to heat or electricity.
Other warming stations on standby located in Wilmington are the First United Methodist Church, 1-815-476-5474, at 401 E. Kahler Road, Wilmington Moose Lodge, 1-815-6472, at 32050 W. River Road & Local 150 Training Center, 1-815-722-3201, at 19800 W. Arsenal Road.
