New Lenox Public Library District Board Personnel Committee met Oct. 8.

A special meeting of the New Lenox Public Library District Board of Trustees was called to order at 6:45 p.m. by President Tatro on Monday, October 8, 2018, at the New Lenox Library, 120 Veterans Parkway, New Lenox, Illinois.
Present were Trustees: President Dr. Edward A. Tatro, Colette Loecke, Michelle Monbrod. Vice President Linda Evans arrived at 6:55 pm.
Absent: None
Staff present: Michelle Krooswyk: Director and Recording Secretary, Michael Stubler: Business Manager

New Business
Holiday closings for calendar year 2019 were approved at the September regular Board Meeting. Director Krooswyk suggested that since there was discussion at the last meeting regarding what days should be paid holidays, so it might be good to touch upon holidays for 2020. Discussion ensued about being open a full day the day before Thanksgiving instead of closing early as well as closing early on New Years’ Eve Day instead of being closed all day. It was decided that different options should be presented in more detail in the September 2019 to approve holidays for calendar year 2020.
Adjournment
Trustee Monbrod moved and Trustee Evans seconded that the meeting be adjourned at 7:00 p.m. Motion passed by unanimous vote.
