Channahon Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
On Monday, December 17th at the Village Board Meeting, Village President Missey Moorman Schumacher, proclaimed Friday, December 21, 2018, as Jane Harkey Day in the Village of Channahon, Illinois, for her dedication, service, and personal contributions made to the community.
Jane Harkey started with Walgreens in 1978 and her expertise with customers was quickly noticed. Over the years, she has helped open numerous stores and trained countless employees, store managers, and even District Managers. She has made Channahon famous across the country with Walgreens by being recognized for selling the most of a product across the whole company. The Village of Channahon urges all Channahon residents to join us in extending an appreciation for her dedication and service.
