City of Joliet issued the following announcement on Nov. 26.
The City of Joliet is under a blizzard warning until Monday morning at 9:00 AM. The Roadways Snow Plow fleet of 39 trucks are on the street to handle conditions. Conditions will worsen later in the evening and early morning hours. Please take your cars off of the street as we are expecting over 5 inches of snow accumulations on the street. Roads are exhibiting slushy conditions and may be hazardous. Please take your time and if you have to be out, drive carefully.
