Bruce Rauner led Democrat JB Pritzker in votes cast in Green Garden Township for the gubernatorial race, according to the latest vote count.

Rauner appeared to outpace Pritzker by a margin of 40.2 percent on Tuesday in the township.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Bruce Rauner, won by a margin of 51.7 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Pat Quinn, who received 343 votes to Rauner's 1,116.
