State House race: Republican McDermed wins voter tally in New Lenox Township Precinct 2

Margo McDermed led Democrat Matthew J. Hunt in votes cast in New Lenox Township Precinct 2 for the District 37 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

McDermed appeared to outpace Hunt by a margin of 33.2 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
