Go back a couple of decades and ambitious high schools students could create messages and art in a chain link fence by strategically placing plastic cups of various colors. Eventually, the cups would be forced out by natural forces such as wind or gravity.
In yet another example of need creating an opportunity, watch Romeoville HS students use plastic tiles created solely for the purpose of creating signage in chain link fences. The tiles come in a rainbow of colors and they snap securely into place. They even come with software to help conceive your design so you know exactly where to place the tiles.
