Cost of college was unchanged for all students at The Salon Professional Academy-Shorewood

Tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at The Salon Professional Academy-Shorewood, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $18,000 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.

Data shows 84 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 12 students received grants or scholarships totaling $53,277 and 15 students took out student loans totaling more than $101,819.

Including all undergraduates, 68 students used grants or scholarships totaling $275,788. Another 80 took out $661,568 in federal student loans.
