Analysis: Frankfort pays $1.85 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Frankfort Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 64.3 percent of the $1,444,475 the Frankfort Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund brought in last year, or $1.85 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Will County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Frankfort contributed $929,501 to the fund, which saw a $145,316 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $502,083, or 34.8 percent, in 2016. Another $12,891 came from other unspecified sources.
