The Will County Republican Central Committee is slated to host a number of events promoting GOP candidates in November’s general election who “put taxpayers first.”
On April 11, Will County District 6 Board Member Debbie Militello will be feted in a $50 per person fundraiser at 5 p.m. at Heroes West Sports Grill in Joliet.
On April 16, a “keep the judiciary conservative” $35 per person, $50 per couple fundraiser will be held for Will County judge candidate Victoria McKay Kennison from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Heroes.
On April 18, the biennial Will County Republican Central Committee County Convention of elected Republican precinct committeemen will be held at 7 p.m. at the Prairie Bluff Golf Club in Crest Hill.
An hour before the start of the convention, a meet and greet reception will be held where elected precinct committeemen will cast votes for county chairman, county secretary and six state central committeemen.
On April 23, Will County Board 9 Member Annette Parker will host a $45 per person, $80 per couple fundraiser at 5 p.m. at the Moran Athletic Club in Joliet.
On April 25, Illinois Gun Owner’s Lobby Day is scheduled, with a planned march on the Capitol slated in defense of the Second Amendment. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., and a rally of thousands of gun owners is slated to follow an hour later.
The day is scheduled to feature speeches in the rotunda from gun owners and other supporters of the Second Amendment.
On April 30, a Mardi Gras $35 per person fundraiser will be held for Will County Board Member Gretchen Fritz at 5:30 p.m. at the American Legion Marne Post 13 in Plainfield.
On May 2, the Will County Republican Central Committee will host its 2018 Lincoln Day Dinner & Fundraiser at 6 p.m. at the Bolingbrook Golf Club.
