The Will County Republican Central Committee announced upcoming events in March that range from fundraisers to the regular monthly meeting.
The Three Rivers Friends of NRA Fundraiser is scheduled for 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 12 at the Clarion Hotel & Convention Center, 411 S. Larkin Ave., Joliet. The Lockport Township Republican Organization will hold its annual St. Pat's Day Corned Beef and Cabbage Fundraiser from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 15 at the Prairie Bluff Golf Club, 19433 Renwick Road, Lockport. The dinner is $40 per person and includes generous portions of corned beef, cabbage, garlic mashed potatoes and all the fixings. Cookies and brownies will also be served. Draft beer will be available for $2.
The Will County Republican Central Committee will meet March 16 at Gatto's Restaurant, 1938 E. Lincoln Highway/U.S. 30, New Lenox. The public is invited to meet and greet with candidates and elected officials at 7 p.m. The monthly meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The public is also invited to a meet and greet with Stacy Mazurek, candidate for Village of Beecher Trustee from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 25 at 617 Reed St., Beecher.
