Jason Pascavage, who has worked in the Valley View School District for the past decade — most recently as a middle school principal — has been named Bolingbrook High School’s principal effective immediately.
Pascavage, who oversaw Jane Addams Middle School as principal for the past three years, first joined VVSD’s 365U team as an assistant principal at Brooks Middle School.
With a reputation for enthusiasm, Pascavage has been heard to say that being a principal and teacher in a school are the noblest positions one can have; his philosophy and day-to-day approach involve treating all his students with respect. Before coming to the Valley View School District, Pascavage worked as a middle school math teacher and also coached high school basketball in Phoenix, Arizona.
Pascavage earned his bachelor’s degree in education from Montana University. He holds two master’s degrees— one in education from Arizona State University and another in administration and supervision from the University of Phoenix. He earned his doctorate in educational leadership from National Louis University in Chicago; additionally, he studied special education at Lewis University in Romeoville.
As Bolingbrook’s new principal, Pascavage replaces Yolanda Jordan, who accepted a district-level position for East Aurora School District 131.
