The Lewis University men's soccer program in Romeoville has added eight recruits.
The new Flyers are: midfielder Timm Adler (6-feet, 180 pounds) of Frankenthal Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany; forward Loic Geuns (6-0, 161) of Maasmechelen, Belgium; midfielder John Horstman (5-9, 152) of Godfrey, Illinois; goalkeeper Philip Huang (5-9, 152) of Flossmoor, Illinois; defender/midfielder Claude Kameni (5-10, 155) of Berlin, Germany; defender/midfielder Zac Lenz (5-9, 167) of Orland Park, Illinois; defender Conor Mohr-Condron (6-1, 178) of Hamburg, Germany; and forward Nico Mueller (5-11, 187) of Braunschweig, Germany.
The Flyers went 1-15-1 last season, including a 1-13-1 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. They will open the 2016 season against Saginaw Valley State on Sept. 1 in University Center, Michigan. The first home match for Lewis will be against Upper Iowa on Sept. 4.
