City of Joliet Communication, Technology & Information Systems Committee met Oct. 1.

ROLL CALL

Present

Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, Councilman Cesar Cardenas and Councilman Juan Moreno

ALSO PRESENT: Christopher Sternal, CIO, Amanda Dite, Deputy Director of IT, Jeffrey Price, Fleet Service Director, Rosemaria DiBenedetto, Media Engagement & Communications Director, Jeffrey D'Aleo, Senior Network Engineer, Jessica Frankowski, Systems Development Coordinator, Michael DiGiannantonio, GIS Coordinator and Joseph Nordman, Deputy Director of Operations for Public Works.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

A motion was made by Councilman Cesar Cardenas, seconded by Councilman Juan Moreno to approve.

The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilwoman Reardon, Councilman Cardenas and Councilman Moreno

AGENDA ITEMS

Award of Contract to Avolve Software for ProjectDox SaaS Renewal in the amount of $41,400.00

Amanda Dite, Deputy Director of IT, discussed the ProjectDox SaaS renewal.

A motion was made by Councilman Cesar Cardenas, seconded by Councilman Juan Moreno to recommend for approval Award of Contract to Avolve Software for ProjectDox SaaS Renewal in the Amount of $41,400.00.

The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilwoman Reardon, Councilman Cardenas and Councilman Moreno

Award of Contract to Heartland Business Systems for the Implementation of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Three Years of ISE Subscription and Support

Christopher Sternal, CIO, reviewed Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) with Heartland Business Systems.

A motion was made by Councilman Cesar Cardenas, seconded by Councilman Juan Moreno to recommend for approval Award of Contract to Heartland Business Systems for the Implementation of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Three Years of ISE Subscription and Support.

The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilwoman Reardon, Councilman Cardenas and Councilman Moreno

Award of Contract to Heartland Business Systems for 2025/2026 Document Scanning Services in the Amount of $100,000.00

Amanda Dite, Deputy Director of IT, reviewed Document Scanning Services with Heartland Business Systems.

A motion was made by Councilman Juan Moreno, seconded by Councilman Cesar Cardenas to recommend for approval Award of Contract to Heartland Business Systems for 2025/2026 Document Scanning Services in the Amount of $100,000.00.

The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilwoman Reardon, Councilman Cardenas and Councilman Moreno

Award of Contract to RTA for the Purchase of Fleet360 Fleet Management Software and Implementation Services in the Amount of $75,776.72

Christopher Sternal, CIO, reviewed Fleet360 Fleet Management Software and Implementation Services with RTA.

A motion was made by Councilman Juan Moreno, seconded by Councilman Cesar Cardenas to recommend for approval Award of Contract to RTA for the Purchase of Fleet360 Fleet Management Software and Implementation Services in the Amount of $75,776.72.

The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilwoman Reardon, Councilman Cardenas and Councilman Moreno

Award of Contract to VertiGIS North America for VertiGIS Studio Enterprise Edition for a Three Year ELA Agreement in the amount of $109,440.00

Christopher Sternal, CIO, reviewed VertiGIS Studio Enterprise Edition with VertiGIS North America.

A motion was made by Councilman Juan Moreno, seconded by Councilman Cesar Cardenas to recommend for approval Award of Contract to VertiGIS North America for VertiGIS Studio Enterprise Edition for a Three Year ELA Agreement in the amount of $109,440.00.

The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilwoman Reardon, Councilman Cardenas and Councilman Moreno

NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION

Councilman Cesar Cardenas inquired about the City's monthly subscription fees.

PUBLIC COMMENT

A motion was made by Councilman Cardenas, seconded by Councilman Moreno to adjourn. The motion carried by the following vote:
