This Halloween, the Village of Crete is inviting residents to share their own spooky stories. Local legends, such as the tales surrounding Chuck’s Tavern and Axeman’s Bridge, are part of the town’s seasonal traditions.

Community members are encouraged to send their Halloween stories to media@villageofcrete.org. Selected stories will be shared on Halloween night.

The initiative aims to bring together local experiences and highlight Crete’s unique folklore during the holiday.
