City of Joliet Public Safety Committee met Aug. 5.

ROLL CALL

Present Councilman Joe Clement, Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman and Councilwoman Suzanna Ibarra

ALSO PRESENT: Chief of Police William Evans, Police Sergeant Michael Botzum, Chief of Fire Jeff Carey, Deputy Chief of Fire Aaron Kozlowski, Joliet Township Supervisor Cesar Guerrero, Joliet Township VPCC Gabriel Garcia, and Joliet Township Special Projects Consultant Miguel Angel Cambray

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Councilwoman Ibarra tells story about trucks and signs heading toward Joliet Central. Talks about accidents on Jefferson Street and making it safer, asks about red light cameras.

Councilwoman Quillman talks about traffic because of trucks.
