Jodi Carlisle was born on August 28, 1960, in Joliet, Illinois. She began her acting career in 1982 with voice work in the cartoon series Pac-Man. She voiced characters like Wendy Richter and The Fabulous Moolah in Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling. In 1991, she voiced Dr. Sara Bellum in Darkwing Duck. Her most notable role was Marianne Thornberry in The Wild Thornberrys from 1998 to 2004. Carlisle also voiced characters in video games and narrated audiobooks. Her live-action roles include guest appearances in Desperate Housewives, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, and CSI: Miami. Despite not having a breakthrough live-action role, Carlisle is an accomplished stage actress. She performed in many productions with the Colony Theatre Company in Los Angeles.
