Construction on the Rosalind Street Culvert Replacement Project in Joliet is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. The project will require a full closure of Rosalind Street between Cutter Avenue and Briggs Street for an estimated six weeks.

During construction, driveway access for residents will be maintained, but on-street parking will not be allowed. Emergency vehicles and garbage collection services will continue to have access. A detour route will be set up, and drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes while work is ongoing.

The City of Joliet stated, "The City of Joliet appreciates your patience and cooperation during this improvement project. Please drive slowly and cautiously in all construction zones. Information about the project can be found by visiting www.joliet.gov/construction-zone. If you have any questions, please contact the Department of Public Works at 815-724-4200. Thank you for your cooperation."
