Anne Marrs, a devoted wife, mother, and animal enthusiast, passed away peacefully on Sunday at the Forest View Rehab and Nursing Center in Itasca, IL. Marrs, 64, was known for her love of gardening, baking, and dedication to animal rescue.

Born on March 1, 1961, in Morris, IL, Marrs shared 45 years of happiness with her husband, Ronald Marrs, whom she married on their family farm in 1980. She found solace and joy in gardening, often accompanied by her beloved dog, Bruno Marrs. An advocate for animal welfare, Marrs frequently surprised her husband by bringing rescued pets into their home.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Marrs; daughters Rebecca Granrath and Emily Marrs; grandsons William, Jacob, and Henry; granddaughter Mary; her loyal dog Bruno Marrs, and brother Jim Kupczak.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory, followed by a funeral service officiated by Pastor Mike Strunga. The interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Braidwood, IL, immediately after the service.
