The ePay online payment site for the Village of Channahon experienced technical issues but has now been restored, according to a statement from village officials.
"The ePay online payment site is back up and running. We appreciate your patience," said the announcement issued on August 25, 2025.
Earlier in the day, residents were notified about disruptions affecting the payment system. "Please be advised that the ePay online payment site is experiencing some issues. The Village is working with the site provider to correct the issues. At this time, we do not have an estimate on when the site will be fully updated and restored. We appreciate your patience and will provide further updates as they are available," officials stated in the original notice.
During the outage, residents were able to make payments at Village Hall or use a drop box located in its parking lot.
