The Channahon Arts and Culture Commission is preparing to host its first event, "Sips, Sights & Sounds - Local Art Auction," at the Four Rivers Environmental Education Center. The event will highlight the work of local artists through both live and silent auctions.
According to organizers, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on original artwork starting October 13 at 5:00 p.m., with silent auction bidding closing during the live event on October 24 at 8:00 p.m. In addition to art, products and experiences from area businesses will be available in a live auction held during the evening.
The event will also feature food and beverages from local vendors as well as live performances. Tickets are available for purchase online. Artists interested in participating can find more information about submitting their work through a dedicated link provided by the commission.
"Sips, Sights & Sounds - Local Art Auction" aims to showcase creativity within the community while supporting local talent.
