Marie Genovese (nee Klein), aged 90, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, surrounded by her family. Known as the heart of the family, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and the life of every party. Marie's warmth, humor, and lively spirit brought happiness to all who knew her.

Survived by her six daughters - Donna Herbert, Catherine Pakosz, Christine Sorci, Joanne Rebek, Mary Beth Marganski, and Karen Kenny - along with 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, Marie leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Genovese, sisters Dorothy Hardy and Lois Sheehan, and brother Donald Klein.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at St. Mary’s Church in Mokena on July 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral service at 12:00 p.m. In memory of Marie, contributions to the American Heart Association are welcomed.

Arrangements are under the care of Hack Funeral Home in Beecher.
