Burr Ridge will host its Independence Day celebration on July 3, 2025, at Walker Park. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m., with fireworks scheduled for dusk. Activities include face painting, a stilt walker, a balloon artist, a rock climbing wall, yard games, and food trucks. Parking is priced at $20; however, reserved parking has sold out. A complimentary shuttle service will operate from 800 Burr Ridge Parkway starting at 6 p.m.

Countryside's event in Yorkville is set for July 4, as part of the United City of Yorkville’s Independence Day Celebration. Fireworks are planned for dusk with a rain date on July 5 at 10:15 p.m., located at Route 47 & Countryside Parkway.

Darien will hold its annual parade along Cass Avenue on July 4. This marks the event's 54th year.

Downers Grove and Woodridge have scheduled their parade for July 4 at 1:00 p.m., starting from Main and Grant. The registration deadline was June 20. Fireworks will take place near 75th Street & Lemont Road around dusk (approximately 9:30 p.m.), with viewing available from nearby parking lots. A picnic is also planned for the same day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Castaldo Park.

Hinsdale's parade begins on July 4 at 10:00 a.m., following a route from Sixth & Garfield to First and then to Grant before returning south to Sixth. A craft fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Burlington Park with family activities throughout the afternoon.

Lemont's festivities start on July 3 at Centennial Park beginning at 4 p.m., with fireworks set for later that evening at 9:30 p.m.

Naperville offers free admission to its event on July 4, taking place at Frontier Sports Complex with fireworks commencing at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Orland Park’s celebration includes a Liberty Run & Walk, live music, and food vendors on July 4 at Centennial Park West starting around dusk.

Western Springs hosts both parade and fireworks events along Cass Avenue on July Fourth while Lions Club Parade takes place along Oak Avenue on July Fifth.

Westmont’s Independence Day Celebration occurs on July Fourth starting at Ty Warner Park from around four in the afternoon until nightfall when fireworks are displayed jointly by Westmont Park District & Village of Westmont.

Willow Springs’ Willow Fest spans several days between late-July dates including firework display scheduled Friday night around nine o'clock situated within Village Circle near Archer Ave & Willow Springs Rd vicinity
