Laura Jean (Stone) Timmons, age 84, formerly of Peotone, IL, passed away at Lightways Hospice Care in Joliet, IL. She worked as a nurse before serving as the administrator of Peotone Bensenville Nursing Home. Remembered for her love of family and animals, Laura reunited with her high school sweetheart and married Mike Timmons in 2007. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Stone, in 2021. Survived by her daughter-in-law, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sister-in-law, nieces, and nephews, private family services will be held with interment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL.
