Intersection closure scheduled for Midland Avenue and Campbell Street

Joliet, IL – The City of Joliet has announced the temporary closure of the intersection at North Midland Avenue and Campbell Street. This closure is part of the Midland and Campbell Water Main Improvement Project, which involves installing a new water main across the intersection.

The construction work is set to commence on Wednesday, June 25th, with completion anticipated by Wednesday, July 2nd. During this period, all traffic near the intersection will be rerouted. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes while the construction is underway.

"We appreciate your patience and ask that you drive slowly and cautiously through any construction zone," stated a city representative.
